Two Atlantic County women were arrested after a toddler overdosed on methamphetamine, authorities said.
Holly Peace, 43, of Egg Harbor Township, and Gabrielle DePasquale, 44, of Atlantic City, were charged with endangering the welfare of a child, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department said in a news release on Friday, June 7. Peace was also charged with neglect of a child and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

A man who allegedly raped a 13-year-old girl is among two Long Island defendants accused of forcing women into prostitution.
Danny St. Louis, age 43, of Bay Shore, and Samantha Wimmer, age 37, of Central Islip, were arraigned on a total of 33 criminal charges in Suffolk County Court on Thursday, April 11.
Prosecutors said St. Louis advertised and sold women for sex several times to various buyers between March 2023 and March 2024, with Wimmer serving as photographer for pictures that were used in his ads.

A woman is behind bars after being charged with manslaughter in the death of her 4-week-old granddaughter in Fairfield County.
Eleanor Herman, age 61, of Bridgeport, was charged on Tuesday, Jan. 23 for the Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021, death.
According to Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police, officers were called to a Bronx Avenue home for a child not breathing.
The baby was transported to the hospital by her uncle before police arrived, Gilleran said.
