19-Year-Old Killed, Another Man Injured In Single-Vehicle Stony Brook Crash One man is dead and another is hospitalized with serious injuries following a single-vehicle crash on Long Island. The wreck happened at around 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, in Stony Brook, near the intersection of Stony Brook Road and North Country Road. Suffolk County Police said a sanitation worker called 911 after a GMC vehicle with two occupants struck a tree and overturned. Emergency crews found both men inside the vehicle and unconscious. The OCHD is casting a diverse group of teens ages 14 to 18 to act in "substance use" and vaping prevention PSAs, the casting call says. A total of 19 actors are needed for both speaking and background roles, with multiple PSAs to shoot.
